HANOI ARRIVAL

Upon arrival to Noi Bai international airport in Hanoi, you will be warmly welcomed by our staff and transferred to your hotel where you will meet your VXA agent. There you will be given all the information about your tour, the local currency in case you asked for it, and your agent will answer any questions that you could have. After the check-in enjoy your own time for discovering the city or just to relax after the long trip.

HANOI CITY TOUR – NIGHT TRAIN TO LAO CAI

Pick you up and transfer for visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, an important place of pilgrimage for Vietnamese, Ho Chi Minh’s House on Stilts, built in the style of Vietnam’s ethnic minorities, surrounded by verdant and peaceful gardens, One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th century, of wood on a single stone pillar resembling a lotus blossom, symbol of purity, rising out of a sea of sorrow. Moving to the next destination- the temple of literature is the first national university in Vietnam. Founded in 1070 by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong, the temple was first devoted to Confucius (Khong Tu) and honors Vietnam’s finest intellectuals and men of literary accomplishment. After that you will enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit Tran Quoc Pogoda, one of the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi, after many times of relocated and repairation, Tran Quoc pagoda still kept its own spirit and standstill with pride and honor. The pagoda has so many architecture work placed very harmonious, specific for the rule of Buddhism architecture. You also admire West lake, the biggest lake in Hanoi from here. After that, walking around famous streets, listend to historic stories, take photos and enjoy the Old Quarters will be an interesting feelings. You admire Hoan Kiem lake, Turtle Tower and Ngoc Son temple. Admire Hoan Kiem lake and Turle tower then wrapping up the day with a traditional water puppet show in the evening. After the full day city tour, you will be transferred to Ha Noi railway station for a night train to Lao Cai.

2

LAO CAI – SAPA – LAO CHAI – TA VAN

Early morning, arrive Lao Cai train station, we will pick you up and transfer to Sapa by a tourist shared bus. Early check in is possible if the room available otherwise we will provide you a basic room where you can have shower. Start the trip at 9:30 as below. First start of 6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. Continue a 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Have lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes on the way. Last trek is about 2Km to the bus stop in Ta Van villlage then get back to Sapa by jeep or minivan. Free your time to discover the town in the evening.

3

SAPA – CAT CAT – SIN CHAI – NIGHT TRAIN TO HANOI 

Today, you walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then next 3 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way a jeep to return to Sapa. Free your time until transfering back to Lao Cai station for a night train to Hanoi.

4

HANOI – HALONG

Early morning, you arrive at Hanoi station, we will pick you up and and transfer to hotel for fresh shower and breakfast. Depart from Ha Noi to Ha Long Bay to cruise amongst the bay’s spectacular scenery. After check-in and security briefings, you will set sail, enjoying lunch while cruising through fishing village, visit a beach area. The vessel will stop at an island, you can feel free to go swimming during summer time, go kayaking, at night, you can ask the cruise to go on squid fishing at night. Enjoy a demonstration with the cooking demostration with a vietnamese chef as he prepares traditional Vietnamese food. Dinner is served on board.

5

HALONG – HANOI – HUE

Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Ha Long Bay while cruising back to the dock. Back to the wharf. Say goodbye Ha Long Bay and go back to Ha Noi. Transfer to Noi Bai airport for a domestic flight to Hue. Upon arrival in Phu Bai airport in Hue, you will be pick up and transferred to hotel for check-in and relax.

HUE CITY TOUR

Pick up from hotel in Hue to visit the elaborate Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh – the twelfth king of the Nguyen dynasty, built in 11 years (1920-1931) with a blend of Western and Eastern architecture. The next attraction is Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, the fourth emperor with longest reign of the Nguyen Dynasty. The tomb closely reflect Eastern architecture and was constructed when the King was still on the throne and spent plenty time here as his place of residence. Continue the journey to discover the Imperial Citadel, which is the most massive structure completed between 1804 and 1833 under the Nguyen dynasty. When visiting this construction, you have a chance to explore the royal architecture, admire its ancient charm and a fortification guarded by 80 bunkers and a deep trench of 40m large, connected by a bridge in front of ten gates as well as review the country’s history. In the late afternoon, pay a visit to Dong Ba market, the biggest and most significant market in Central Vietnam. This is the place of traditional local products in wide variety, from the conical hats, toothpicks to luxurious jewelleries. Enjoy a boat trip on the romantic Perfume River and visit the seven-storey Thien Mu Pagoda. Back to your hotel for relaxing time.

HUE – DA NANG – HAFL DAY HOI AN CITY TOUR

After breakfast, head to Hoi An Ancient Town. On the way, stop at Hai Van Pass or Sea Clouds Pass, the most dangerous mountain pass in Vietnam yet the breathtaking views worth all the effort. From the top, you could see the East sea and a part of Da Nang City. Enjoy the view down to Lang Co Beach while breathing in the fresh air from the forest. You also stop at Marble Mountains, here is famous for its extremely impressive scenery, attractive natural caves and stone-cutting crafts. In the afternoon, discover the charming Hoi An Town, following the narrow lanes, standing the ancient houses on both sides blending with Chinese, Japanese style and a bit of European. The 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Meeting Hall, Tan Ky House are some quick suggestions for your plan to Hoi An. Besides a numerous art galleries, museum and tailor shops, where you can get some quick made-to-measure clothes, are also the options to visit. After the trip, move to the hotel for relax and free your own time.

HOI AN – A FREE DAY

Enjoy the freedom of a full day at your own disposal. Relaxing at your resort or discover narow streets with colorful lanterns in Hoi An. Since it is also very famous for tailor made clothing stores, if you would like a traditional Vietnamese costume “Aodai”, you would have the dress within 12 hours.

HOI AN – DANANG – SIEM REAP

Free your own time until 12:00 PM or sooner depend on your departure flight, our staff will pick you up and transfer back to Da Nang airport for international flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap international airport in Siem Reap, our staff will pick you up and and transfer to your hotell for relaxing and free your own time.

SIEM REAP – PHNOM KULEN & BANTEAY SREI

After breakfast at hotel, we head for the mountains in the National Park Phnom Kulen. The mountain was used as the ancient capital city in the year 802, during the reign of King Jayavarman II, who declared himself king and announced its independence from Java, giving birth to the current Cambodia. There are 56 temples of Angkor made of brick and volcanic stones, but most of them are in poor condition. Also you will notice the river of the Thousand Lingas and a huge reclining Buddha built in the sixteenth century. As those who dare may take a refreshing dip in the waterfalls that form in Phnom Kulen. Afternoon we drive down from the mountain we visit the enchanting Banteay Srei. It appears that the temple was designed to leave no space undecorated, and the fine carvings in pink sandstone are quite unique. The second visit will be to Banteay Samre, with elaborate architecture and exceptional carvings, and we will visit a local village. Back to hotel for relax.

SIEM REAP – ANGKOR THOM – TA PROHM & ANGKOR WAT

After breakfast we drive to visit Angkor Thom – the great city of the ancient Khmer empire. The visit includes: the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Elephant Terrace and Leper King Terrace and continue exploring the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that a visitor may remember forever. In the afternoon we visit Angkor Wat – one of the world’s wonder. End the day with the climb to the summit of Bakheng Mountain to view a spectacular sunset.
