HANOI ARRIVAL

Upon arrival to Noi Bai international airport in Hanoi, you will be warmly welcomed by our staff and transferred to your hotel where you will meet your VXA agent. There you will be given all the information about your tour, the local currency in case you asked for it, and your agent will answer any questions that you could have. HANOI CITY TOUR

Pick you up and transfer for visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, an important place of pilgrimage for Vietnamese, Ho Chi Minh’s House on Stilts, built in the style of Vietnam’s ethnic minorities, surrounded by verdant and peaceful gardens, One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th century, of wood on a single stone pillar resembling a lotus blossom, symbol of purity, rising out of a sea of sorrow. Moving to the next destination- the temple of literature is the first national university in Vietnam. Founded in 1070 by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong, the temple was first devoted to Confucius (Khong Tu) and honors Vietnam’s finest intellectuals and men of literary accomplishment. After that you will enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit Tran Quoc Pogoda, one of the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi, after many times of relocated and repairation, Tran Quoc pagoda still kept its own spirit and standstill with pride and honor. The pagoda has so many architecture work placed very harmonious, specific for the rule of Buddhism architecture. You also admire West lake, the biggest lake in Hanoi from here. After that, walking around famous streets, listend to historic stories, take photos and enjoy the Old Quarters will be an interesting feelings. You admire Hoan Kiem lake, Turtle Tower and Ngoc Son temple. Admire Hoan Kiem lake and Turle tower then wrapping up the day with a traditional water puppet show. After the full day city tour, come back hotel for relaxing time.

HANOI – HOA LU – TAM COC – MUA CAVE

Pick up and transfer to Hoa Lu – an ancient citadel of 3km2 – to visit the temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh dynasty (968-980), and Emperor Le Dai Hanh of the Ly dynasty (980-1009). Continue to have a boat ride on Ngo Dong river, visit Tam Coc scenery- one of the most famous places in Ninh Binh. You have the chance to visit amazingly nature blessed caves on a romantic boat rowed by local people. Just admire the beauty and take photos to save your time with its beauty. Have lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, it is time to take a biking tour around villages. You will cycle through narrow lane road to see the rice field and feel the pure atmosphere in the countryside. After that exploring Mua Cave which means dancing cave in Vietnamese. You climb up on around 500 steps to top offering the panorama view of Ngo Dong River and Tam Coc. Tam Coc is considered as Halong Bay on land. Having a short rest before coming back to Hanoi.

HANOI-HALONG

Pick up from train station and transfer to the hotel for your fresh shower and breakfast before transferring to Ha Long Bay to cruise amongst the bay’s spectacular scenery. After check-in and security briefings, set sail to enjoy lunch while cruising through fishing village and visit a beach area. The vessel will stop at an island, feel free to go swimming to cool down the summer heat. Enjoy a cooking demonstration with the chef as he prepares some traditional Vietnamese food. Dinner is served on board. At night, you can ask the cruise to do squid fishing.

HALONG – HANOI – HO CHI MINH CITY

Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Back to the wharf. Say goodbye to Ha Long Bay and transfer to Noi Bai Airport to catch a flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, you will be transferred to hotel for check-in and relax.

HO CHI MINH – MY THO – CAN THO

Depart from Sai Gon and drive to My Tho located in the heart of the Mekong Delta. When arriving in My Tho, take a day boat on the Mekong River and its multiple canals to Ben Tre. Visit a floating fish cages, fruit gardens where you can enjoy fresh tropical fruits and enjoy traditional music (called Don Ca Tai Tu). Continue the trip by walking through narrow lands, come over an orchid garden house to enjoy honey tea. Next destination is coco candy ricepaper factory where you can taste the unique local specialties. Take a coach ride to visit garden, feel a pure atmosphere in the countryside and see daily life of locals. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant before rowing back the pier. Continue to Can Tho, check in hotel and relax. Free your time to discover night market in evening.

CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – HO CHI MINH 

In the early morning, you will visit Cai Rang floating market, the biggest and most famous floating market in the Mekong Delta. Get a boat to explore the complicated canal system of Can Tho. Then you disembark to visit a beautiful Old Binh Thuy House. In the afternoon you will return to Ho Chi Minh. En route, you will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a beautiful one in the Mekong Delta. Come back your hotel in Ho Chi Minh for relaxing.

PHNOM PENH ” PAST & PRESENT”

Visit to the Royal Palace compound build in 1866 by the Predecessors of King Norodom, is the most conspicuous feature and also one of impressive colorful Khmer-style Palaces. Nearside the Royal Palace is Silver Pagoda (The Emerald Buddha temple), display plenty of Buddha Statues that were decorated and made by diamond, emerald, gold and silver. Continuing visit to National Museum, the distinctive red building with a beautiful Khmer architecture was built since 1917 and contains more than 5000 art objects made of sandstone, bronze, silver, copper, wood and others. Travelers will proceed to visit Independence Monument, which was constructed in 1954 after Cambodian took their country back from French colony. This afternoon, we will learn about the dark side of Cambodia – Its more recent turbulent and harrowing history. Initially you visit the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (also known as S21), ironically a former school, located in a quiet Phnom Penh suburb, this was the infamous Khmer Rouge prison / torture centre. We enjoy our cyclo ride along the riverside. This laidback tour gives us a different perspective of the streets and sights of the city. We will enjoy a cruise for view sunset on the Mekong and Tonle Sap River (1 hour). Situated at the “Four Arms” where the Mekong meets the Tonle Sap River before splitting into two branches, Phnom Penh offers the ideal location to discover the mighty Mekong.

PHNOM PENH-BATTAM BANG

Morning departure in a north-west direction to Battambang, first stop at Kompong Loung to visit the village of goldsmiths along the Tonle Sap, manufacturing souvenir center stopping, and stop at Phnom Udong, the ancient Cambodian capital during the latter stages of the Khmer Empire and crowning site of many past kings. Consisting of a series of stupas atop a large hill, there are outstanding views across the surrounding plains below. Phnom Udong was bombed and desecrated by the Americans and then the Khmer Rouge, but still possesses a beauty that no war has been able to steal from it. Having had time to explore, continue to Kompong Chhnang, taking the time to stop at a pottery village before continuing further north to Pursat Province, famous for its marble stone carvings. We continue towards Battambang and transfer to hotel. Departure to Phnom Sampeu Mountain. Phnom Sampeou means ‘Ship Mountain’ because its peculiar shape reminds of a ship. Atop a 100-meter-high mountain stands a pagoda and three natural caves: Pkasla, Lakhaon and Aksopheak. We will be just in time to catch the bats! As darkness falls, we will begin to see thousands of nocturnal bats taking flight from the surrounding caves in a massive formation of dark, black clouds. Be sure to photograph this amazing and staggering sight. Overnight in Battambang.

BATTAM BANG – SIEM REAP

We travel further south you arrive at the well preserved 11th century mountaintop Angkorian temple of Phnom Banan. After climbing the 350+ steps you are treated to a wonderfully peaceful setting with superb views across the surrounding countryside, with small villages dotting the endless rice paddies, punctuated with the characteristic sugar palm trees a wonderful sunset location. Drive through the countryside to visit cottage industries like rice paper production, weaving centers and even a fish paste factory. We drive to the Bamboo Railway Station. The Bamboo Train has been set up by the villagers to facilitate the transportation of goods and people. The train in itself is very basic – one platform on 4 wheels activated by a small motor. Sitting on the platform we travel the 8km to the next station through beautiful landscape and rice paddies. Departure to Siem Reap by road (180 km – around 3-hour drive).

BANTEAY SREI & GRAND CIRCUIT

We head further out through rural countryside to the small but beautiful temple of Banteay Srei. This temple is largely built of pink sandstone, a harder rock that can be more elaborately carved and better survives the rigors of time. This is an opportunity to capture some good photographs of the clear and detailed carvings. Not be missed is Banteay Samre: Its rose-colored sandstone walls are decorated with carvings and bas-reliefs, which are among the most accomplished Angkor has to offer. For the later afternoon we head back into main Angkor Park and journey to Tasom. Tasom offers some beautiful photo spots, especially the rear entrance where tree roots adorn the gateway. We finish by experiencing sunset over the rice fields from the royal crematorium of Pre Rup, a classic view of the Cambodian countryside.

SIEM REAP – ANGKOR TEMPLES

We start on our bicycle to world heritage areas on the roads less travelled. Ride among the jungle passing local village and local shop. It’s a very special and acting day as you will explore some of Angkor’s most beautiful temples. You will visit the West Gate of Angkor Thom – undiscovered by mass tourist including: – The ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century) – See the South Gate, Bayon Temple – unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara – Baphuon temple lying just to the north of Bayon a pyramidal representation of mythical Mont Meru – We step to see our old palace as Phimeankas temple in huge complex that was used for our king in the past time. – Then Elephant terrace is platform for king and officer viewed show and people meeting. – Preah Palilay was is older than Angkor Thom was nearby, deeply in forest and on path back You see monk sprinkle water to people. We continue to the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Enjoy foot massage 1hour & walking at busy pub street where you can find many bars for cool drink or shopping at Angkor Night Market.
