Excursion to the Phong Nha Caves and Dark Cave

ITINERARY

After breakfast, we will meet our guide to head towards the impressive Phong Nha Caves, located about 50 km from the city. After a pleasant boat trip of approximately 25 minutes, we will arrive at the famous Phong Nha Cave, known for its spectacular rock formations and for being one of the most outstanding river caves in Vietnam. We will have time to explore its interior and admire this extraordinary natural environment.

We have lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha.

In the afternoon, we will continue the visit in the exciting Dark Cave, located within the Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park. The experience combines adventure and nature: we'll cross the river by kayak, enter the cave, and explore part of its interior equipped with helmets and headlamps. We'll also have the opportunity to enjoy a natural mud bath inside the cave and swim in its underground waters.

Activities included: mud bath, zip line, swimming and kayak. We recommend bringing a swimsuit and towel.

Important notes:

– It is mandatory to wear a bikini (women) or swimsuit (men) for the visit to the Dark Cave.

– Within the Dark Cave Only waterproof cameras or devices are allowed.

– For safety reasons, zip-lining is only permitted for people weighing between 40 and 90 kg.

The excursion includes several sections on foot, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. For the visit to the Dark Cave, it is not necessary to wear shoes.
