Hotel pickup in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to Ben Tre. Upon arrival, you will board a motorboat to leisurely explore Palm Creek and observe the daily activities of the local population, immersing yourself in the authentic life of the delta on the riverbanks.
They will continue by tuk-tuk to the village, where they will stop to visit a mat weaver. At a local home, they will enjoy hot tea accompanied by a rice paper cake with coconut or seasonal fruit.
A short walk to the jetty (approx. 200 meters). Afterward, you will take a boat along the Ben Tre River to visit a traditional workshop specializing in coconut sweets, a local specialty, where you can sample these traditional products. During the visit, you will attend a presentation of Don Ca Tai Tu, traditional music from southern Vietnam, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, will be featured. Visitors will also observe traditional beekeeping and taste natural honey in the garden.
The tour continues by boat to a traditional brick kiln to learn about the traditional manufacturing process. Afterwards, you will visit small coconut processing workshops (peeling, cutting, and making coconut fiber) run by local families.
They will continue sailing along the legendary Ba Lai River, surrounded by coconut palms, where they can observe traditional fishing and enjoy fresh coconut water on board.
Lunch featuring typical specialties from the Mekong Delta region in a tropical garden.
Walk under the shade of coconut and grapefruit plantations to the meeting point with the bus (approx. 500 meters).
Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
