Excursion to the Mekong Delta (Ben Tre)

ITINERARY

After breakfast, we set off towards Ben Tre, one of the most authentic provinces of Mekong Delta, known for its extensive coconut groves and peaceful river life.

Upon arrival, we board a small boat to explore the region's canals and observe the daily life of the communities living along the riverbanks. During the journey, we enjoy the characteristic landscape of the delta, with its palm groves, local boats, and small riverside villages.

We continue our tour by tuk-tuk along rural roads that wind through orchards and traditional villages. We stop to visit a traditional mat-weaving workshop and then a local home where we enjoy tea accompanied by seasonal fruits or typical regional specialties.

Later, we sail through the canals of Ben Tre To discover some of the province's most representative products, we visit a traditional coconut candy workshop and learn about different production processes related to this fruit, one of the area's main resources.

During the visit we also have the opportunity to taste local honey and attend a presentation of Don Ca Tai Tu, a traditional musical expression from southern Vietnam, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

We continue exploring rural life in the delta with a visit to small family workshops dedicated to artisanal production and coconut processing. We also observe the traditional brickmaking process, a characteristic activity of the region.

We have lunch with typical specialties from Mekong Delta in a tropical garden.

In the afternoon, we enjoy a pleasant walk among coconut palms and fruit orchards before beginning our return to the city of Ho Chi Minh.

We arrive at the hotel and have some free time.
